In His Grace - To His Glory TOMORROW If you have ever procrastinated about anything, you can understand how easy it is to be complacent about salvation. Nobody likes to be reminded of their sin, or how long it has been since they've spoken to God about anything, much less eternal life. It is as if they are going to live forever and will get around to God when the time comes. As it is with procrastinators, they say, "I'll get around to that 'tomorrow'! Friends, we are not promised tomorrow.
Don’t Wait!
She sat on the bed, her hands to her face, I paused, to give her a moment of grace. I prayed that God would grant her release, Bless her with strength, give her His peace.
Their love had begun in the spring of their lives, And now she must bid him a final goodbye. If only he’d acted when God touched his heart, They could have shared heaven, never to part.
He always said he had plenty of time, No need to rush, he had mountains to climb. He thought he would always have a tomorrow, But he ran out of time, much to her sorrow.
Her children and friends try to comfort her now, And she knows God will help her get through it somehow. She sighs and drops her hands from her face, Kneels by the bed and silently prays.
She prays that others might learn from his fate, And turn to Jesus before it’s too late! For God has promised to all who will come, Eternal life in His heavenly home.
So how about you, are you sure you will be, With God in heaven for eternity? Jesus is waiting, His arms open wide, To bring you to Heaven; to sit at His side.
Don’t wait ‘til tomorrow, it may never come, And you may not reach God’s Heavenly Home. Confess now to Jesus, ask Him into your heart, Don’t spend eternity lost and apart!
