PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES*
Jesus Commands Us to Love One Another! (Matthew 5:43-44)
Something to think about:
Jesus commands us to love
God, our neighbor as ourselves, and even to pray for our enemies. You may ask,
“How can I pray for my enemies?” Remember, Jesus promised: Ask and it will be
given to you……….For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him
who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Luke 10:9-10)
For an eye opening experience, read Corinthians
13:4-7 and
substitute the name of
‘Jesus’ for ‘love’ each time it is used.
Now, read again and this
time substitute your own name for
‘love’.
“ABOVE ALL LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY
BECAUSE LOVE COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS.”
(1Peter 4:8)
